You don’t need an expensive camera for a premium live — a normal Android phone is enough if you set it up right. This guide covers four things: light, sound, internet and phone preparation.
Light: face the window
- In the daytime, sit facing a window — natural light is the best light.
- At night, put a white LED lamp in front of you and slightly above. Avoid a bright light behind you.
- A small ring light lifts video quality dramatically for very little money.
Sound: your voice is your brand
- The earphones with mic that came with your phone are enough — they prevent echo.
- Sit away from fans, AC and TV. Small rooms with curtains sound clearer.
- Mute when you are not speaking.
Internet: stability beats speed
- Use Wi-Fi when you can and sit close to the router.
- On mobile data, pick a spot with a strong 4G signal.
- Pause big downloads and uploads while you are live.
- Voice rooms use far less data than video — choose audio when the network is weak.
Prepare your phone
- Keep the battery above 60 % or stay plugged in.
- Turn on Do Not Disturb so calls don’t interrupt your live.
- For video, use a stand at eye level — handheld video shakes.
- Always use the latest GiftLive version from our download page.
